Local Authority Emergency Response in the Event of a Notifiable Disease Outbreak

Cirencester, Gloucestershire, Wednesday 4th July 2018

This one day course has been arranged by Food and Farming Compliance Ltd. to provide an overview on the role and responsibilities of a Local Authority in the event of an outbreak of Notifiable disease.

It is intended for those officers appointed to Local Authority departments who are likely to be called on in the event of a notifiable disease outbreak to assist other staff who are responsible for administering and enforcing the provisions of Animal Health and Welfare legislation. It will also act as a refresher for Animal Health and Welfare Inspectors. The seminar is also relevant to Animal Health and Welfare staff of Central Government Departments and Agencies and to the FSA Official Control Personnel. It will also be of benefit / importance for the staff of Animal Charities and Quality Assurance Schemes.
