This Seminar, jointly arranged by TSEM (Trading Standards East Midlands) and Food and Farming Compliance Ltd, will provide an update on current Animal Health and Welfare issues. In particular, an update on the Livestock Information Programme, a resume of the recent animal health and welfare legislation most of which will come into force on EU Exit day, update on Horse issues that affect Local Authorities including the recent Horse ID Regulations and a report from APHA giving the latest disease situations, threats, issues concerning them. There will also be 3 discussion works shops on current Animal Health Issues.
It is intended for those officers appointed to Local Authority departments who are responsible for administering and enforcing the provisions of Animal Health and Welfare legislation. The seminar is also relevant to Animal Health and Welfare, Staff of Central Government Departments and Agencies and to the FSA Official Control Personnel. It will also be of importance for the staff of Animal Charities and Quality Assurance Schemes.
